Gospel of Matthew

In the 28 chapters of Matthew's gospel he tells us about the life and ministry of Jesus, especially how he fulfills the promises of the Old Testament and how his followers should conduct their lives as citizens of God's Kingdom. He starts with the birth of Jesus and closes his story with Jesus' reassuring promise, "I am with you always." Matthew 1-28.

  1. These passages are coming from my New International Version (NIV) Bible. I find it much more enjoyable and easier to read than the older versions. It has the same meaning, just written in language we use in present day.;)
